This list is the 50 songs that actually get recognised, not the 50 most beautiful carols. It mixes the radio hits (Mariah, Wham!, Brenda Lee, Bobby Helms), the crooners (Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra), the British Christmas number ones (Slade, Wizzard, Shakin' Stevens, The Pogues) and the newer ones the younger cousins will get first (Ariana Grande, Sia, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift).

Tips for a Christmas bingo that actually works
Play the chorus, not the intro. Half of these songs open with sleigh bells, and sleigh bells all sound the same. Skip to the first line of the chorus and the room gets it instantly.
Watch the near-duplicates. Santa Claus Is Coming to Town and Here Comes Santa Claus confuse people; so do the three different Jingle Bells variations. Keep the artist on the card, or pick one version.
Forty songs make a full evening. A 5x5 card needs 24, but with 40 to 50 the cards come out varied and you can play two or three rounds without repeating. The generator lets you deselect anything you do not want.
Give the winner something silly. A cracker, a chocolate Santa, the right to pick the next film. It is Christmas; the prize is not the point.
